The passing of time cannot change what was felt at the very moment the camera shutter opened and life was captured. I take photos so you can feel those moments over and over again. I take photos so that you may remember.
It’s hard to know the value of a photograph until it is all you have left. But really, at the end of the wedding day, when the flowers have wilted and the candles have been blown out, photographs are all that remain.
And after photographing over 150 weddings the last few years, I have learned that the most unexpected and intimate moments are the ones you most want to remember. Like the feel of your veil brushing your cheek as he lifts it to place a kiss. And the squeeze of your father’s hand on your arm as he walks you down the aisle. You want to remember how it felt to laugh with abandon at the best man’s toast and tear up when your maid of honor tells that story about that one time…
Your wedding day is about so much more than a beautiful dress, and having the perfect flowers. It’s about celebrating all the moments that have led you to this day surrounded by the people who helped you get there. It’s about the forming of a new family and the legacy you will build together.

I love a good checklist and I hope you do too! About two months before the big day we will check in person to go over all the details. My wedding day questionnaire is designed to make sure I am serving you, your bridal party, your family and your vendors to the best of my ability. Together, we will create the perfect timeline, family shot list and ensure your day is captured with attention to detail.

After your wedding, you can expect a beautiful gallery perfect for sharing with family and friends, because joy is always best when shared with others! At that time I will also send over information about preserving your images through prints and heirloom albums.

Reserve your day
Weddings have a tendency to be a whirlwind of emotions and activity. My goal is for you to remember your day, but that won’t happen if it all goes by too fast. I know when to step in and remind you to pause and savor the moment.
Your only job on the wedding day is to celebrate your heart out. It’s a simple process really. You tie the knot, I take gorgeous pictures of your day, and we’ll hug and high five through all the best moments. Then in a few weeks, you get to slow down once again and relive all the joy and emotion of your wedding day.
